To grow into mature, productive, law-abiding members of our community,young people need positive role modelsand guides. CSI Academy’s preventionprograms offer caring mentors who aretrained to inspire and educate school-age children on important life-skills.
These programs are offered weekly in elementary, middle school and high school classes.
Launched in 2020, the updated Jr. Deputy Program is currently reaching girls and boys in Jacksonville’s Bayou- Meto Elementary School, and Mills Middle School and High School in the Pulaski County Special School District.
Just as th e PCSO’s sh eriff’s badge is a fiv e p ointed star, the PCSO Jr. Deputy youth mentoring program offers fiv e p oints o f opp ortunity f or s taff and volunteers to mentor the youth in our community.
Re-entry drug programs provide a mechanism for the successful reintegration of the serious drug-using offender back into society.
