OUR PURPOSE.

The purpose of the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Prevention and Re-Entry Foundation is to help finance crime prevention activities, to operate camps and programs for at-risk kids and to develop and operate re-entry programs at the Pulaski County jail.

According to an Arkansas Department of Corrections report, the recidivism rate in Arkansas is 58.21% over three years for those released on parole. Giving released prisoners the skills needed to avoid incarceration in the future could reduce the prison population by 25% or more.
